Chocolate-Black Pepper Cookies

I really did not know whether I would like this recipe or not. Chocolate and black pepper is an odd combination, but the rich chocolate and bite of pepper is great together.

It has been snowing off and on all week. Its nearly March and its just as cold and disgusting as it was in November. I have lived in Seattle now for 4 years and i still cant stand the winters that never seem to end. Filling the house with the smell of baking cookies and warmth from the oven helps a bit, but I keep daydreaming about spring. Come on already mother nature!!!
